I was born in Beaumont, Texas and attended Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. I came to Austin in 2001 and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. Even as an Aggie in Austin, there is no better place on the planet!

I’ve spent 18 years throughout corporate America. Working in ascending management positions with small start-ups, Fortune 500 companies and mid-size stand alone businesses in a variety of industries including Technology, Software, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing. I was fortunate to be the CFO of a $1B O&G manufacturing business over the past 2 years and this gives me a unique perspective on the challenges and needs of the role and the function.

At Embark, I provide leadership to our consultants and Business Development teams. I have a passion for helping others and look forward to solving problems in your world and helping Embark grow throughout the region.

While not working, I spend most of my time with my wife, Lauren and 4 kiddos, Kinley, Rylin, Taya and Ridge. Ridge is the only boy in the group and I would gladly trade places with him as he lives the life of a Prince! When time allows, I love watching College Football, enjoying the great outdoors in Austin, and chasing a little white ball. To quote the great British golfer, Harry Vardon, “Don’t play too much golf ... two rounds a day is plenty!"
