I was born and raised in Brownsville, TX and moved to Houston, TX to attend college at the University of Houston, where I received my Bachelor and Master of Accounting degrees.
During college, I interned with KPMG in their Advisory Services practice. Upon graduating, I joined the KPMG team where I focused in internal audit for the Oil & Gas industry. After 3 years with the firm, I decided I wanted to pivot my career to focus on Accounting, and as such, I joined US Ecology as an Accounting Manager for their TX energy services and landfill operations.
Although I greatly valued my time with US Ecology, after 3 years I decided it was time for a change. I wanted to join a company with great values, culture, and growth. I found all of that and more with Embark.
I enjoy all things fitness related but spinning and yoga are my favorites. I love to spend time with friends, family and my yorkie, Belle. I enjoy reading, live music, and traveling.
