I hail from Uniontown, PA, a small town just south of Pittsburgh. I attended Penn State University (We Are!), earning my BS in Accounting before starting my career in audit at Arthur Andersen’s Pittsburgh office. After leaving public accounting, I moved from Pittsburgh to the Washington, DC area where I spent over ten years in internal and external financial reporting positions for public companies and a stint in financial reporting consulting as well. Eventually I moved to Tampa, Florida where I served as Corporate Controller for two companies before finding my way to Embark’s Tampa Bay Office.

At Embark, I leveraged my experience in reporting, and operational and technical accounting to provide advisory services to public and private-equity backed clients across a number of industries. Currently, I am a leader in Embark’s Outsourced Accounting Group, in which I lead our back-office accounting and reporting team, serving a client base across a wide spectrum of sizes, locations, and industries, including technology, healthcare, professional services and more.

When not Embarking, I’m usually spending time with my wife Lauren and our three kids – very often shuttling between band concerts, music lessons, soccer games and dance recitals.
