As a Salt Lake City native, my University of Utah crimson runs deep. I received my B.S. and MBA from "The U" and I also have a M.Ed from Utah State University. My first career was in education, but after about five years I took a leap and joined an oil and gas services start-up firm in Texas and never looked back.

Since then I've spent the bulk of my career in various start-up and high-growth firms in various industries from trucking to tech. I've primarily focused on talent development, people functions (aka HR), talent acquisition, safety and risk management. I love the energy and opportunities that are often hallmarks of high-growth companies and embark has both in spades. I have a passion for building teams, processes and systems that truly net a positive experience for our people and communities and that is precisely the mission of the entire people team at embark.

During college football season you'll find me at Rice-Eccles Stadium cheering on the Utes at every home game and singing the fight song until I've lost my voice. I love being outdoors and spend a lot of time cycling, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, traveling and general adventuring. I have two incredible boys who shred on their mountain bikes and an extremely spoiled mini golden doodle puppy.
