I grew up Lake Jackson, Texas where I played softball every weekend and spent the summers helping out at my family’s local t-shirt shop. From an early age, I developed a passion for seeing businesses grow. When it was time for college, I knew I wanted to do two things: play softball and major in business. I landed at the University of Texas at Dallas to play softball
After college, I spent three years in a marketing role for a Fortune 500 company in Dallas before deciding to make the transition to a new position. When the opportunity to join the Embark team arose, I knew it was the place for me. With their fantastic culture, start-up atmosphere, and a role chock full of details and planning, I couldn’t have found a better fit.
Outside of work, I’m with my husband running after our toddler. I enjoy volunteering in the nursery at our church on Sundays and making trips to the library to find the latest book for book club.
