My career is, and has always been, at the intersection of IT, Accounting and Hospitality - and I love it! While I attended school for my undergraduate degree, I got my first taste of IT while working at the IT Help Center freshman year; I was IT by day between Accounting classes and bartender/server by evenings and weekends. After completing my undergraduate degree in Accounting, I went back for my Masters and CPA. After graduation, I started at PwC in their Risk Assurance department (IT Audit focus) and eventually obtaining my CISA.
After my time at PwC, I moved from public accounting to industry where I became the Director of Accounting Systems at Kroenke Sports Entertainment. Absolutely loving my time in the sports and entertainment field, I eventually felt a pull towards Vail Resorts to further my IT skillset where I was able to further jump into the Hospitality and Experiences industry. At Vail Resorts, I managed the Financial Applications team - always finding myself at that intersection!
My experience at PwC, Kroenke Sports and Vail Resorts gave me the opportunities to build teams, coach and manage analysts, and project manage on multiple IT Implementations: All things People, Process and Technology! Ultimately, my heart drove me back to client services, more specifically Embark, where I have the privilege to lead Business Transformation Growth efforts.
When I’m not working, I enjoy rock climbing and hiking with my fiancé and our three dogs! Never a dull moment.
