I rely on my education – a BA in Economics from UCLA and MBA from Pepperdine – along with years working in finance to write Embark’s content. My goal is to take complex topics and distill them into pieces that are more approachable, understandable, and enjoyable to read.

Although I live in Arizona with my wife and kids,I  root for my beloved LA sports teams from afar, especially the Bruins and Dodgers. I enjoy golf but i'm not great at it – think 300 yard drives landing two fairways over – and embarrass my kids by headbanging in a sensible 3-row SUV with decent mpg.  I love my family, love my work, and wouldn’t change a thing. Except for that ineptness off the tee.
