I grew up just outside of Fort Worth, Texas and made my way down to College Station to attend Texas A&M University. I graduated from Texas A&M with degrees in both Accounting and Management Information Systems. After graduating, I started at Ernst & Young in the IT Risk Advisory practice in Dallas. There were some great folks at EY and I learned a lot while working there, however I quickly realized that I wasn’t cut out for a large corporate environment.

Because of this, I soon found myself at Embark where I worked as a consultant with some truly stellar people. After being a consultant for a couple of years at Embark, I took a quick prodigal foray into industry only to find that “there’s no place like home” and soon returned to Embark. However, this time, I joined the internal accounting team. I feel that I’ve been wired to encourage and support others and being on the internal accounting team here at Embark allows me to exercise that everyday! I am grateful to be here and I count it as a true privilege to work with such a great team.

Outside of work you can catch me casting a fly rod, reading a good book, or brewing up some local coffee. Above all, I follow Jesus Christ and I am humbled by my daily need of grace.
