I was born in Texas, but raised all over the globe. I attended the University of Utah and earned my BA in accounting. From there, I started my career at Deloitte in San Jose, CA.
During my 6 and half years there, I primarily served the technology, media, and telecommunications sector. I was fortunate to work on clients that ranged from large public companies to small start-ups. While there, I honed my skill through researching and interpreting complex accounting issues, building relationships, and mentoring other work associates.
In 2013, my family and I moved to Texas to take a position at a software company as a revenue manager and most recently as a corporate controller. During my time in industry, I participated in acquisitions, implementing new accounting guidance, and leading the implementation of SOX.
At Embark, I look forward to challenging the status quo, mentoring others, and utilizing my background to assist clients.
Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my wife and children. You will find us at soccer fields, basketball courts, choir concerts, dance practice, and serving in our church.
