My childhood years were spent living in the midwest, the southeast, and also Texas. Upon graduating high school in North Carolina, I attended Appalachian State University for both undergraduate and graduate studies and then began my career in Charlotte.
I have spent my professional career in Charlotte, North Carolina. This encompassed public accounting, with McGladrey and Ernst & Young, advancing corporate accounting industry roles, and also professional consulting services. In addition to accounting, I found serving clients through times of transition and difficulty to be rich and rewarding. At Embark, I am able to use my knowledge and experience with accounting, processes and systems to help clients achieve their goals.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife Heather and our three daughters. We enjoy a multitude of activities outside the house, including hiking, camping and exploring places with sand and/or water.
