I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. After high school, I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting. After graduation, I obtained my CPA and started my career with PwC Birmingham in the assurance practice. At PwC, I served public and private clients across various industries, which include financial services, railroad, construction, healthcare, higher education, and insurance.
After growing up in Birmingham, AL and countless trips to Denver, I decided to commit to the move to Denver for a lifestyle and career change. I was ready for a change from the day-to-day of audit to challenge myself and gain additional skills. This led me to Embark, and I have been here since making the leap.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling/exploring, climbing, camping, hiking/backpacking, good music, and sharing experiences with friends and family.
