I was born and raised in Deptford, New Jersey, a relatively small town in the southern part of the state. After graduating from high school, I attended Rider University where I obtained my BBA in Accounting & Finance. I then obtained my CPA and started my career at PwC in the Philadelphia office. While at PwC, I worked on many clients – ranging from healthcare to CPG to manufacturing. I also had the ability to work on various interesting projects, including carve-outs, divestitures, impairments and accounting standard adoptions. After 4.5 years at PwC and many learning opportunities, I moved on to the industry world and started working within FP&A for American Water, a large public water utility company.
Then COVID hit, and it gave my girlfriend and I time to reflect on what we wanted to do. Next thing we knew we were packing our bags and moving to Denver! After moving to Denver, I continued to work remotely for American Water as an FP&A Manager, but after 1.5 years I realized that I missed the client service aspect of public accounting as well as the learning opportunities it provided. However, I knew that I didn't miss the hours and grind, so Embark was naturally a perfect fit!
Outside of work, I love to spend my time working out, exploring the beautiful state of Colorado and traveling to foreign countries.
