I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and went to Texas A&M University as a third generation Aggie. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Business Honors and Master’s degree in Finance through the PPA Program in Mays Business School.
After graduating, I moved to back to Houston and began my accounting career at PwC in the Private Client Services Group (PCS). Being in PCS allowed me to experience a broad variety of industries, such as not-for-profit, healthcare, and oilfield services. Working with these smaller companies enabled me to experience firsthand the inner workings of the company, and to form meaningful relationships with my clients. I later moved to an FP&A role at a large homebuilder, Beazer Homes. Here I strengthened my skills in process improvement and automation, and learned the various challenges large public companies face. I then decided to combine both my accounting and finance backgrounds into a consulting role at Embark!
At Embark, I am excited to leverage my unique experience and collaborate with the best and the brightest individuals to provide exceptional service to our clients. There is no problem too big or too small for us to solve.
Outside of work, I love to pursue fitness, read, outcook my Greek husband, and travel the world (13 countries and counting!). On any given weekend, you will find me trying to find the best restaurant in Houston and walking my black lab, Bo.
