I grew up primarily in sunny Southern California (in an Orange County suburb called Irvine) and for some reason decided to leave the year round 70 degree weather to attend the University of Notre Dame in Antarctica (just kidding.. South Bend), where I received my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minor in Italian. I was fortunate enough to study in Rome for a semester and engage in some friendly but intense competition through the women's boxing club.

After graduation, I joined the EY Assurance practice in Chicago, where I was exposed to many different projects, including audits of privately-held manufacturing clients, several carve-outs of existing public oil and gas and consumer product companies, and many first year audit projects for brand new EY clients. In 2019, I transferred within the EY Assurance practice to Denver, where I gained exposure to other industries in the public sector, including technology, cannabis, and healthcare.

After my time at EY, I spent a short time at Four Winds Interactive in Denver where I served as the technical accounting manager where I gained experience in technical accounting, consolidations and reporting, and month-end close during which I oversaw a team of 3. After my brief tenure in industry, I wanted to get back to client services and project-based work so I joined Embark in April 2022!

Outside of work, enjoy the outdoors and what feels like year-round sunshine in Colorado, whether that is hiking or paddle boarding during the summer or hitting the ski slopes and battling i-70 traffic nearly every weekend in the winter. If you ask any of my friends of family members, they will tell you I never stop moving! If I'm not out adventuring, you can find me cooking up a delicious meal for myself or my friends at home or weightlifting at the gym.
