Born and raised in Texas, I grew up in the small town of Whitesboro near Lake Texoma. I attended the University of Texas in Austin where I ran track (more specifically pole-vaulted) and received my BS and MS in Accounting. After graduating from UT, I moved to Dallas where I started my career in public accounting at Deloitte’s audit practice.

During my time at Deloitte, I worked on multiple engagements and specialized in the hedge fund and private equity industries. Through my experience in audit at Deloitte, I gained experience in financial reporting, internal controls and technical accounting. I had the opportunity to see several different organizations and business structures, but what I enjoyed most was problem solving and building relationships with clients. I joined the Embark team to pursue those interests where I can help others and collaborate with clients to have a positive impact on their businesses.

Outside of work, you can find me playing basketball, attempting to learn how to play the violin, and spending time with friends and family.
