I was born in raised on the Central Coast of California in a suburb of San Luis Obispo. After finishing high school, I joined the US Navy where I served six years as a guided weapons operator and technician aboard the frigate, USS DeWert, out of Jacksonville, FL. During that time, I completed two counter-piracy tours in Somalia and the Gulf of Aden and was fortunate to travel the world along the way.
After being discharged in 2015 I attended Jacksonville University and completed my degree in Accountancy and headed west to Denver in 2018 to begin my career in KPMG's audit practice. I gained audit experience in a broad range of industries, but was focused primarily in asset management , REIT's, and federal government audits.
In 2021, I transferred with KPMG to the Tampa, FL office which led me to the opportunity to join the Embark family and continue to expand my knowledge through consulting.
When I'm am not working, I have been an avid golfer since my early teens that you can find embracing the struggle on courses all over Florida, fishing for relaxation, watching sports, or trying out new restaurants and recipes in the kitchen.
