I grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA, about an hour north of Los Angeles. After high school, I moved to Fort Worth, TX to attend Texas Christian University (go frogs!) and earned my Bachelors of Business Administration. After a quick year at the University of Denver to earn my Masters of Accounting, I realized that Texas is home and settled in the Dallas area.

I started my career at Ernst & Young in their Dallas office. I worked in the assurance practice, primarily with public companies in the real estate and retail sectors. During my three years at EY, I gained valuable experience in financial reporting, data analytics, and internal controls. As a team-lead, I was also able to develop my people skills in order to successfully manage my team in addition to client relationships. Once I stumbled upon Embark, I was captivated by the people and culture, and I knew I wanted to be a part of the team!

Outside of work, my husband and I love to spend time doing escape rooms, watching TCU football, rock climbing, and taking walks with our dog.
