I am from Lafayette, California, a suburb about 45 minutes outside of San Francisco. I attended college at the University of Texas at Austin where I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting. During my Masters year, I also obtained my CPA license.
After graduation, I moved to Dallas and started my career at KPMG working in the Financial Due Diligence practice. After a year and a half at KPMG, I was unfortunately part of their layoffs in early 2023. However, I looked at this as an opportunity to leave Big 4 and join a smaller firm which is how I ended up at Embark!
I am fan of the San Francisco 49ers, Giants, and the Texas Longhorns. When I am not obsessing over these teams or working, I spend my time golfing, working out, going to sporting events and concerts, and traveling.
